Do not mix truth with falsehood and do not deliberately hide the truth

Tafsir
And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know it. This verse addresses one of the most spiritually dangerous practices: the deliberate mixing of truth with falsehood, which is more harmful than pure falsehood because it is harder to detect. emphasizes that concealing the truth — especially when one knows it — is a form of betrayal of the divine trust given to those who bear knowledge. The scholars and learned people among humanity carry an especially grave responsibility: to transmit what they know honestly and completely. The silence of those who know the truth in the face of falsehood is itself a form of its concealment.
