ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَـٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
“Who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder what Allah has ordered to be joined, and make mischief in the land; these it is that are the losers.”
Al-Baqarah 2:27

جو اللہ کے (توحید الہی٬، نبوت محمدؐ٬، اور ولایت علیؐ کے) عہد کو توڑ دیتے ہیں اسے مضبوط باندھ لینے کے بعد اور وہ اس (حق تمسک اور صلہ رحمی جو محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کے ساتھ فرض ہے) کو قطع کرتے ہیں جس کا اللہ نے امر کیا ہے کہ اسے جوڑا جائے اور وہ زمین میں (امامت و ولایت سے برآت ظاہر کرکے) فساد کرتے ہیں وہی لوگ (جنت حرام کرکے اور خود بمع پیروکاروں کے دوزخ میں جا کر) خسارہ اٹھانے والے ہیں۔

This verse describes those who break the covenant of Allah after confirming it, who sever what Allah has ordered to be joined, and who spread corruption in the earth. The covenant of Allah refers to the primordial covenant of tawhid — the innate acknowledgment of Allahs lordship — as well as the moral and social obligations that flow from it. Severingwhat Allah has ordered to be joinedencompasses the breaking of family ties, community bonds, and the human relationship with its Creator. emphasizes that these three violations form a single pattern: the person who betrays their covenant with Allah inevitably corrupts their relations with creation as well.
