Tafsir
Deaf, dumb, blind — they will not return. These three attributes describe not physical conditions but spiritual ones: the willful closure of the faculties through which divine guidance reaches the soul. The ear that will not hear the Quran, the tongue that will not speak truth, the eye that will not see the signs of Allah — these become, through persistent misuse, incapable of their true function. The finality of they will not return is sobering: at a certain point, the repeated choice against truth calcifies into an inability to choose otherwise. holds this up as a warning about the urgency of responding to guidance when it comes.
