قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ۛ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً ۛ يَتِيهُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ فَلَا تَأْسَ عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
“He said: So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land, therefore do not grieve for the nation of transgressors.”
Al-Ma'idah 5:26

خدا گفت: (چون مخالفت امر کردند) شهر را بر آنها حرام کرده، چهل سال بایستی در بیابان حیران و سرگردان باشند، پس تو بر این گروه فاسق متأسف و اندوهگین مباش.
