“He said: O Adam! inform them of their names. Then when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not say to you that I surely know what is ghaib in the heavens and the earth and (that) I know what you manifest and what you hide?”
Al-Baqarah 2:33

The Lord said to Adam, "Tell the names of the beings to the angels." When Adam said their names, the Lord said, "Did I not tell you (angels) that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth and all that you reveal or hide?"

Tafsir
Allah said to Adam: Inform them of their names — and when Adam did so, Allah declared that He knows what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what the angels conceal and what they declare. draws attention to this moment as a revelation of divine omniscience at its most intimate: Allah is not merely aware of external actions but of the inner states even of the angels. The verse also reveals Adams dignity: he becomes a teacher to the angels, conveying to them a knowledge he received directly from Allah. This moment establishes the pattern of prophethood — the human being as the bearer and transmitter of divine knowledge to creation.
