وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَٰجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَوْا۟ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۗ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
“And when you have divorced women and they have ended-- their term (of waiting), then do not prevent them from marrying their husbands when they agree among themselves in a lawful manner; with this is admonished he among you who believes in Allah and the last day, this is more profitable and purer for you; and Allah knows while you do not know.”
Al-Baqarah 2:232

اور جب تم لوگ عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور ان کی مدّاُ عدت پوری ہوجائے تو خبردار انہیں شوہر کرنے سے نہ روکنا اگر وہ شوہروں کے ساتھ نیک سلوک پر راضی ہوجائیں. اس حکم کے ذریعے خدا انہیں نصیحت کرتا ہے جن کا ایمان اللہ اور روزِ آخرت پر ہے اور ان احکام پر عمل تمہارے لئے باعجُ تزکیہ بھی ہے اور باعث طہارت بھی. اللہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے ہو

و چون زنان را طلاق دادید و زمان عده آنها به پایان رسید، نباید آنها را از شوهر کردن منع کنید هرگاه به طریق مشروع به ازدواج با مردی تراضی کنند. بدین سخن پند داده شود هر کس به خدا و روز بازپسین ایمان آورده. این دستور برای تزکیه نفوس شما بهتر است و خدا (به مصلحت شما) داناست و شما (خیر و صلاح خود) نمیدانید.

When the waiting period of the divorced women has ended, you (her relatives) must not prevent them from marrying their (previous) husbands again if they might reach an honorable agreement. This is an advice for those of you who believe in God and the Day of Judgment. It is the most beneficial and pure way of treating each other. God knows but you do not know.
