وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلًّى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَـٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
“And when We made the House a pilgrimage for men and a (place of) security, and: Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibrahim. And We enjoined Ibrahim and Ismail saying: Purify My House for those who visit (it) and those who abide (in it) for devotion and those who bow down (and) those who prostrate themselves.”
Al-Baqarah 2:125

اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب ہم نے خانہ کعبہ کو ثواب اور امن کی جگہ بنایا اور حکم دے دیا کہ مقام ابراہیم کو مصّلی بناؤ اور ابراہیم علیھ السّلام و اسماعیل علیھ السّلام سے عہد لیا کہ ہمارے گھر کو طواف اور اعتکاف کرنے والوںاو ر رکوع و سجدہ کرنے والوں کے لئے پاک و پاکیزہ بنائے رکھو

و (به یاد آر) هنگامی که ما خانه کعبه را مرجع امر دین خلق و مقام امن مقرّر داشتیم و (دستور داده شد که) مقام ابراهیم را جایگاه پرستش خدا قرار دهید و به ابراهیم و اسماعیل سفارش کردیم که حرم مرا (از بت) بپردازید و پاکیزه دارید برای اهل ایمان که به طواف و اعتکاف حرم آیند و در آن نماز و طاعت خدا به جای آرند.

We made the house (in Mecca) as a place of refuge and sanctuary for men. Adopt the place where Abraham stood as a place for prayer. We advised Abraham and Ishmael to keep My house clean for the pilgrims, the worshippers and for those who bow down and prostrate themselves in worship.
