وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
“And how do they make you a judge and they have the Taurat wherein is Allah's judgment? Yet they turn back after that, and these are not the believers.”
Al-Ma'idah 5:43

و چگونه آنها به حکم تو سر فرود آرند در صورتی که تورات نزد آنها است و حکم خدا در آن است و با این حال از آن روی میگردانند؟ (پس چنانچه تو نیز از تورات حکم کنی بدان راضی نشوند) چه آنکه اینان به خدا ایمان ندارند.
