يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَسْـَٔلُوا۟ عَنْ أَشْيَآءَ إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِن تَسْـَٔلُوا۟ عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنْهَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
“O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you, and if you question about them when the Quran is being revealed, they shall be declared to you; Allah pardons this, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.”
Al-Ma'idah 5:101

ای اهل ایمان، هرگز از چیزهایی مپرسید که اگر فاش گردد شما را زشت و بد میآید و غمناک میکند، و اگر پرسش آن را به هنگام نزول آیات قرآن واگذارید برای شما (هر چه مصلحت است) آشکار میگردد. خدا از عقاب سؤالات بیجای شما درگذشت، و خدا بخشنده و بردبار است.

Believers, do not ask about things which, if revealed to you, would disappoint you. If you ask about such things when the Prophet is receiving revelations, they will also be revealed to you. God has exempted you (from the responsibilities of the things you wanted to know). He is All-forgiving and Forbearing.

ایمان والو ان چیزوں کے بارے میں سوال نہ کرو جو تم پر ظاہر ہوجائیں تو تمہیں بری لگیں اور اگر نزول قرآن کے وقت دریافت کرلو گے تو ظاہر بھی کردی جائیں گی اور اب تک کی باتوں کواللہ نے معاف کردیا ہے کہ وہ بڑا بخشنے والا اور برداشت کرنے والا ہے
