وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَـٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ
“And when Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it behind their backs and took a small price for it; so evil is that which they buy.”

و چون خدا از آنان که کتاب به آنها داده شد پیمان گرفت که حقایق کتاب آسمانی را برای مردم بیان کنید و کتمان مکنید، پس آنها عهد خدا را پشت سر انداخته و آیات الهی را به بهایی اندک فروختند، پس بد معاملهای کردند.

اس موقع کو یاد کرو جب خدا نے جن کو کتاب دی ان سے عہد لیا کہ اسے لوگوں کے لئے بیان کریں گے اور اسے حُھپائیں گے نہیں.. لیکن انہوں نے اس عہد کو پبُ پشت ڈال دیا اور تھوڑی قیمت پر بیچ دیا تو یہ بہت اِرا سودا کیا ہے
