فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
“So they put them to flight by Allah's permission. And Dawood slew Jalut, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of what He pleased. And were it not for Allah's repelling some men with others, the earth would certainly be in a state of disorder; but Allah is Gracious to the creatures.”

نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ ان لوگوں نے جالوت کے لشکر کو خدا کے حکم سے شکست دے دی اور داؤد علیھ السّلامنے جالوت کو قتل کردیا اور اللہ نے انہیں ملک اور حکمت عطاکردی اور اپنے علم سے جس قدر چاہا دے دیا اور اگر اسی طرح خدا بعض کو بعض سے نہ روکتا رہتا تو ساری زمین میں فساد پھیل جاتا لیکن خدا عالمین پر بڑا فضل کرنے والا ہے

پس به یاری خدا کافران را شکست دادند و داود (علیه السّلام) امیر آنها جالوت را کشت و خدایش پادشاهی و فرزانگی عطا فرمود و از آنچه میخواست بدو بیاموخت. و اگر خدا برخی مردم را در مقابل بعضی دیگر بر نمیانگیخت فساد روی زمین را فرا میگرفت، و لیکن خدا، خداوند فضل و کرم بر همه اهل عالم است.

They defeated their enemy through God's will. David slew Goliath and God granted David the kingdom and wisdom and also taught him whatever He wanted. Had God not made one group of people repel the other, the earth would have become full of corruption, but God is generous to His creatures.
