وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْمَحِيضِ ۖ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَٱعْتَزِلُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فِى ٱلْمَحِيضِ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطْهُرْنَ ۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
“And they ask you about menstruation. Say: It is a discomfort; therefore keep aloof from the women during the menstrual discharge and do not go near them until they have become clean; then when they have cleansed themselves, go in to them as Allah has commanded you; surely Allah loves those who turn much (to Him), and He loves those who purify themselves.”

و سؤال کنند تو را از عادت شدن زنان، بگو: آن رنجی است (برای زنان) در آن حال از مباشرت آنان دوری کنید و با آنان نزدیکی نکنید تا آنکه پاک شوند، چون خود را پاک کردند از آنجا که خدا دستور داده به آنها نزدیک شوید، که همانا خدا آنان را که پیوسته به درگاهش توبه کنند و هم پاکیزگان دور از هر آلایش را دوست میدارد.

اور اے پیغمبر یہ لوگ تم سے ایاّم حیض کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں تو کہہ دو کہ حیض ایک اذیت اور تکلیف ہے لہذا اس زمانے میں عورتوں سے الگ رہو اور جب تک پاک نہ ہوجائیں ان کے قریب نہ جاؤ پھر جب پاک ہوجائیں تو جس طرح سے خدا نے حکم دیا ہے اس طرح ان کے پاس جاؤ. بہ تحقیق خدا توبہ کرنے والوں اور پاکیزہ رہنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے
