أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِكُم ۖ مَّسَّتْهُمُ ٱلْبَأْسَآءُ وَٱلضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ نَصْرَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ
“Or do you think that you would enter the garden while yet the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you; distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Apostle and those who believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the help of Allah is nigh!”

کیا تمہارا خیال ہے کہ تم آسانی سے جنّت میںداخل ہوجاؤ گے جبکہ ابھی تمہارے سامنے سابق اُمتوں کی مثال پیش نہیں آئی جنہیںفقر و فاقہ اور پریشانیوں نے گھیر لیا اور اتنے جھٹکے دیئے گئے کہ خود رسول اور ان کے ساتھیوں نے یہ کہناشروع کردیا کہ آخر خدائی امداد کب آئے گی. تو آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ خدائی امداد بہت قریب ہے

آیا گمان کردهاید که به بهشت داخل شوید بدون امتحاناتی که پیش از شما بر گذشتگان آمد؟ که بر آنان رنج و سختیها رسید و همواره پریشان خاطر و هراسان بودند تا آن گاه که رسول و گروندگان با او (از خدا مدد خواستند و) گفتند: بار خدایا، کی ما را یاری کنی؟ (در آن حال خطاب شد: بشارت دهد که) هان! همانا یاری خدا نزدیک است.

Would you think that you could go to Paradise without experiencing the kind of suffering others have experienced before you? Distress and afflictions battered them until the Messenger and the believers said, "When will God send help?" Certainly God's help is near.
