وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوا۟ مِنَّا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَـٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
“And those who followed shall say: Had there been for us a return, then we would renounce them as they have renounced us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they shall not come forth from the fire.”
Al-Baqarah 2:167

و آن پیروان گویند: کاش دیگر بار به دنیا باز میگشتیم و از (اطاعت) اینان بیزاری میجستیم چنان که اینها (گرهی از کار ما نگشودند و) از ما بیزاری جستند! این گونه خدا، کردار (زشت جاهلانه) آنها را مایه حسرت و پشیمانی آنان کند و آنها از عذاب آتش جهنّم بیرون شدنی نباشند.

The followers will say, "Had we had the chance we also would have denounced our leaders." That is how God will show them their regrettable deeds. They will not be able to escape from hell fire.

اور مرید بھی یہ کہیں گے کہ اے کاش ہم نے ان سے اسی طرح بیزاری اختیار کی ہوتی جس طرح یہ آج ہم سے نفرت کر رہے ہیں. خدا ان سب کے اعمال کو اسی طرح حسرت بنا کر پیش کرے گا اور ان میں سے کوئی جہّنم سے نکلنے والا نہیں ہے
