وَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِكُلِّ ءَايَةٍ مَّا تَبِعُوا۟ قِبْلَتَكَ ۚ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَتَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ إِنَّكَ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
“And even if you bring to those who have been given the Book every sign they would not follow your qiblah, nor can you be a follower of their qiblah, neither are they the followers of each other's qiblah, and if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, then you shall most surely be among the unjust.”
Al-Baqarah 2:145

و تو (ای پیغمبر) اگر هر قسم معجزه برای اهل کتاب بیاوری پیرو قبله تو نشوند و تو نیز تبعیت از قبله آنان نخواهی کرد و بعضی ملل تابع قبله برخی دیگر نشوند، و اگر تو تابع دلخواه و هوسهای جاهلانه آنها شوی بعد از آنکه از جانب خدا علم یافتی، در این صورت البته از گروه ستمکاران خواهی بود.

Even if you were to bring all kinds of authoritative proof to the People of the Book, they still would not accept your qibla, nor would you accept theirs, nor would they accept each others. Were you to follow their desires after all the knowledge that has come to you, you would certainly have been one of the unjust.

اگر آپ ان اہلِ کتاب کے پاس تمام آیتیں بھی پیش کردیں کہ یہ آپ کے قبلہ کو مان لیں تو ہرگز نہ مانیں گے اور آپ بھی ان کے قبلہ کو نہ مانیں گے اور یہ آپس میں بھی ایک دوسرے کے قبلہ کو نہیں مانتے اور علم کے آجانے کے بعد اگر آپ ان کی خواہشات کا اتباع کرلیں گے تو آپ کا شمار ظالموں میں ہوجائے گا
