وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
“And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion. Say: Surely Allah's guidance, that is the (true) guidance. And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian from Allah, nor any helper.”
Al-Baqarah 2:120

یہود و نصاریٰ آپ سے اس وقت تک راضی نہ ہوں گے جب تک آپ ان کی ملّت کی پیروی نہ کرلیں تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ ہدایت صرف ہدایت هپروردگار ہے--- اور اگر آپ علم کے آنے کے بعد ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی کریں گے تو پھر خدا کے عذاب سے بچانے والا نہ کوئی سرپرست ہوگا نہ مددگار

هرگز یهود و نصاری از تو راضی نخواهند شد مگر آنکه پیروی از آیین آنها کنی. بگو: راهی که خدا بنماید به یقین راه حق تنها همان است؛ و البته اگر از میل و خواهش آنها پیروی کنی بعد از آنکه طریق حق را دریافتی، دیگر از سوی خدا یار و یاوری نخواهی داشت.
